@GunnerDobbins Her husband wrote probably the most batshit YA series I ever read in high school also. It’s called Gone and it’s about a town where everyone over 15 vanishes and kids start developing powers. A twelve year old gets eaten alive by bugs on page and an autistic toddler becomes a god

The author did a blog post following the series's VERY dark and depressing ending after a lot of readers were traumatized by the kid characters all either dying or having PTSD and in response, this based lady said: "Lol, War is war keep crying"

@NextBestPicture @AaronDaniellle no. the films they are in are not the type to go for many acting noms this year. even heavy hitters like The Odyssey or Dune 3 at most would be the leading role (Damon or Chalamet) getting nommed and The Drama is not an awards type of film AT ALL
