Be brutally honest. What is your favorite way to get users for your app?

In the past few years of building I always avoid marketing at all cost. But Recently everything has changed. I lost my job and growing my own product would be easier then getting a new job in this market. my god, I was wrong. So far I have tried: - x (no result) - reddit (started getting visitors but then got banned) - now trying SEO+GEO. I would definitely try Reddit again and again. Cause this is the only place seems good enough for free visitor. I don't know what gonna happen in the long run but I will keep trying until I make it.
