Many years ago, we all began a journey learning about Adnan Syed's case in Baltimore, Maryland. A community not far from us was rocked by the loss of a high school student & then shaken again by the conviction of another.

freed, due to an unfair trial. We know that there will be a lot of rebuilding for him & reintegrating into society along with his family. As a community center serving American Muslims, we are reminded that it is key to support the community through resources & civic engagement.
