Frieren is easily one of the best fantasy shows out there, period.
If the manga never got finished it would still be in my top 10 animes ever.

A few people are big mad that I stated factually that Frieren would fit in Middle-earth quite well. The only thing that would need to be tweaked is the source of her power. Tolkien would frown at the application of magic in Frieren's story, however, knowing as much as I do about the Professor, I feel comfortable saying he would likely find the character very intriguing.
