Industrial sites are redeveloping into breweries, restaurants, offices & apartments in this part of #Raleigh, but there are no sidewalks or crosswalks connecting them. I'll explain why on @WRAL at 5 & how one neighbor is pushing for change after getting injured on a walk here.

HAPPENING NOW: @UNC crews are installing taller fences around the flag pole where Palestinian supporters clashed with police this afternoon after removing the US flag & raising a Palestine flag. #UNC police are around the quad right now for security. @WRAL

NEW: Palestinian supporters have torn down the barricades put up around the former encampment site on the #UNC campus & replaced the American flag with the Palestinian flag. I only see a few @UNC Police standing around the edges of the quad. @WRAL

HAPPENING NOW: Hundreds of Palestinian supporters are now on the steps & quad in front of South Building where the @UNC Chancellor’s Office is located. This march & rally comes after at least 6 protesters were arrested when police cleared the encampment on campus this AM. #UNC
