Solana Breakpoint 2025 🇦🇪 was great, BUT it can get better... Currently at the airport, about to fly back to Bangkok, and reflecting on Breakpoint 2025. Every year, @platis_e and the Solana events team keep pushing things forward. Bigger, better, more ambitious, and that effort really shows. That said, compared to Breakpoint Singapore, in my opinion the venue layout worked better there. It was easier to bump into people, booth visibility was stronger, and foot traffic flowed smoothly. This year, with activations split across multiple zones and different floors, it became harder to get visibility for activations and to easily bump into people simply due to movement and foot traffic being fragmented. The one area where Breakpoint consistently falls short, and where there is massive upside, is NETWORKING. Once a year, the entire Solana and crypto ecosystem shows up, but most people do not know who is who, mainly because everyone is usually a PFP on X or Telegram. You do not know which companies are attending, who represents them, or who you should actually be meeting. From my personal experience in games, coming from Web 2.0 and attending many different conferences, this problem has already been solved. Platforms like @MeetToMatch allow attendees to see profiles, understand what people are looking for, and chat beforehand to get introduced. From there, meeting requests can be sent, discussed, accepted, or declined if expectations do not align. Attendees can also set specific meeting zones and meeting points, and when requesting a 15 to 30 minute meeting, they can clearly specify the location. Investors meet founders, founders meet investors, projects meet service providers, and everyone can extract more value before they even arrive, while understanding where everyone stands individually and as a company.
