@quillways @ScottForester17 That actually sounds even more intriguing. A dark adventure centered on a boy recruited to take down a Siren Queen has a lot of potential for conflict and character growth. How far along are you in the rewrite?

Okay, it's Friday, I'm at 72K words on the current novel. I have a full weekend, plenty of caffeine, lots of ideas, and the ambition to finish this sucker. Let's see what I can get done!

@quillways @ScottForester17 That's a fascinating premise. A Siren's daughter trying to resist what she's expected to become sounds like it could create a lot of internal conflict. What genre would you say it falls under?

@ScottForester17 A Siren's daughter not wanting to drown sailors is actually the premise of my Webnovel "Where the darkness ends and you begin" (currently in rewrite). It is however much less lighthearted.

I ended up finishing my short story Shell Of A Man last night, ended up being 3 short chapters, and was a fun bit if practice. Should i just put the two remaining chapters online at the same time or spread them out a bit?

As mentioned prior I am currently working on my first YA fantasy novel which I am hoping to write as a trilogy and also once completed to be able to seek out representation on like with my other novels from either agents or publishers.
