Chronic Lyme disease is a hidden epidemic fueled by flawed testing & corruption. Chronic Lyme patients are ignored because Band 31 (OspA) was removed from testing after the failed Lymerix vaccine, despite it being a key marker for diagnosis.
OspA is critical for chronic symptoms like encephalopathy and severe pain and disability, but testing standards ignore it due to conflicts of interest driven by policies like the Bayh-Dole Act, which prioritize profit over patient care.
It’s time for reform—we need accurate testing, transparency in research, and accountability. Leaders like @RobertKennedyJr must push for a system that prioritizes patients over profit. Make research great again.
