After a gloomy Monday we sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday. It also comes with a nice warm up . The weather is unsettled Thurs/Friday, but clears for the weekend.

We warm up later this week but it comes with rain. (None of this winter mix we see tonight) After the front moves through it will be dry and sunny for the weekend.

Tracking some snow showers. These could produce a quick coating overnight but will be off shore by about 4am. Minimal impact on roads but there could be a few slippery spots.

Saturday is the pick of the weekend. Sunday will have scattered showers with steadier rain Sunday night. It may be cold enough to change to snow for the Monday morning commute. Sunny, dry and cool Tues/Wed.

A few showers are possible Sunday but most of the moisture will be with us Sunday night into Monday. It may be just cold enough to turn it to snow overnight Sunday into Monday. Here's how much moisture to expect and we could use it. We are still in a drought.

We may get a little taste of winter Monday morning. It will mostly stick in grassy areas and roads should remain wet. Still a lot of questions as to how this will develop so stay tuned through the weekend.

We get a slight warmup, but it comes with unsettled weather. The best chance for rain will be Friday night, and Sunday afternoon/evening. That moisture may linger into Monday and just cold enough there could be a wintry mix northwest of Boston.

Friday night plans? Expect some rain. Mostly early evening and it moves through quickly. Don't expect a lot of rain.

After a chilly day Wednesday (only 35 for a high in Boston) we begin a warm up into the weekend. It does come with some unsettled weather so expect a few rain showers but it is not a washout of a weekend.

Early risers look southeast tomorrow morning. A Falcon 9 rocket will be launching from Florida. It's part of the Spacelink program. It can usually be seen in New England about 5 minutes after launch

Astronomically we begin Spring on Friday morning. Meteorologically we've been in it for 18 days. I wish the weather would feel more like it.

The best chance of rain is next Monday. It will likely come with wind. Before that, Wednesday night/Thursday looks like light rain. Temperatures continue to ride a roller coaster but settle toward average later this week and weekend.

Here are the high temps today. A southwest wind kept it chilly over the Cape but inland we had some of the warmest air since last September.

We broke one of the oldest record highs still on the books in Boston today. Smashing a 148 year old record.

After a taste of Spring on Tuesday we return to near normal temperatures later this week. We may see a little rain with that transition Wednesday/Thursday.

Wednesday afternoon into Thursday we have a chance of showers. Most of it will be rain, but there could be a little mix for elevated areas inland, Turning colder behind this system.

Looks like another outbreak of severe weather on Tuesday, Early in the season for this. It usually doesn't kick in until April or May.
