The designed molecular systems have potential application in clinical diagnosis and therapy. Their research is focused on the synthesis of new chelating platforms as well as the study of physico-chemical properties of the obtained complexes.

The IMMO-TEP (Molecular Imaging and Therapy) can be found in the CICA research center at the Universidade da Coruña. This research group has extensive experience in the field of coordination chemistry oriented towards the design of molecular systems #metalbio #research #diagnosis

The metal complexes for the treatment of diseases caused by oxidative stress of cells such as Alzheimer’s, SARS or type II diabetes, among others. Additionally, they also study helicoidal and meso-helicoidal metalosupramolecular complexes with antitumoral activity.

This week we are presenting the Suprabioin group @suprabioingroup from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. This research group is focused on the development of biomimetic metal complexes with antioxidant activity. Another amazing group that is a part of our network!!
