I found these clips interesting, particularly when viewed alongside the long & well documented history surrounding Jonathan Lee Riches, AKA JLR Investigates. Over the years JLR has publicly discussed his past involvement in activities such as hacking, swatting, cyber related misconduct, & phone phreaking. These statements can be found in various interviews & online content. Phone phreaking in particular is a form of telephone system manipulation that has seen renewed attention in recent years. Some online commentators have speculated that JLR may be the voice heard in calls threatening the parents of Karmelo Anthony. I’m not making that claim as fact but it is a theory that has circulated online & in my opinion sounds very similar. JLR was also present in Collin County, Texas during proceedings involving Karmelo Anthony & reportedly encountered additional legal issues while there. JLR is scheduled to appear before a judge on June 26, 2026, in connection with a restraining order matter. On June 9, 2026, @RealMantel approached JLR regarding allegations & legal matters involving cases in both Chelan County, Washington & Pasco County, Florida. According to law enforcement documents from Chelan County authorities identified probable cause for arrest including Assault in the Second Degree (Domestic Violence), Harassment – Threats to Kill (Domestic Violence) & Interfering with the Reporting of Domestic Violence stemming from an incident involving a former girlfriend on December 24, 2025. These are allegations reflected in official records & should not be interpreted as findings of guilt. JLR is also facing a pending battery case in Pasco County, Florida involving the same former girlfriend and pretrial conference is currently scheduled for July 2, 2026 for that case. Following the questioning from @RealMantel JLR responded with allegations of his own, including claims that @RealMantel had engaged in inappropriate conduct involving children. To my knowledge no evidence has been publicly presented to support those accusations. JLR also publicly posted information about @RealMantel & members of his family, including a photograph of a minor child. Since his release from prison in 2016 critics, former associates & online observers have documented a pattern of behavior they describe as harassment, intimidation, doxxing & the use of multiple online identities. Some former associates have also alleged that JLR utilizes numerous email accounts & spoofed phone numbers to contact or harass individuals. These claims come from third parties & should be evaluated accordingly. Others who have known JLR personally have alleged that he is drawn to highly publicized tragedies & frequently inserts himself into ongoing cases, often generating online content & revenue from those events. More recently, JLR’s involvement in the Nancy Guthrie case, as well as his relationship with several YouTubers covering the case, has generated concern among observers. Public records & reports indicate that numerous calls have been made to @PimaSheriff regarding alleged harassment & public nuisance activity involving certain individuals associated with the online coverage of the case, including some who were recently arrested. Given JLR’s own public discussions of activities such as swatting, hacking, & phone system manipulation, along with the allegations made by former associates regarding his conduct, some observers have questioned the broader impact he may have on the environment surrounding these cases. As always, allegations are not proof & everyone is entitled to due process. I’m interested in hearing others thoughts on the documented facts, public records & ongoing legal matters discussed above. People are speculating that JLR may have nudged Criminal Network toward Nancy’s, and if so, it definitely shifted the spotlight away from JLR and onto Criminal Network. Interesting how that played out. It wouldn't shock me if he egged him on for this reason.
