Just shoot them in the legs or something?” Donald in October 2024 (campaign event) on Liz Cheney: “Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her.” Trump in November 2023: “We pledge to you that we will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists and the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country” Donald Trump’s 2024 rallies: Mocked and made multiple jokes about the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul. Donald Trump’s posts in November 2025 in response to a video by Democrats in Congress urging military members to refuse illegal orders: “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” He also reposted calls to “HANG THEM.” How Donald Trump describes Democrats: Regularly refers to us as “scum,” “animals,” “sick people,” “demonic,” “the enemy from within,” “radical-left lunatics,” and accuses us of trying to “destroy America.” And let’s not forget about Donald Trump threatening to unalive an “entire civilization” and celebrating the death of Robert Mueller this year. MAGA can get bent with their one-sided outrage.

The dumbest thing about using the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting as an excuse to build Trump's ballroom is that it couldn't have been held there. 2600 journalists and guests attended. The Washington Hilton ballroom has a capacity of 4150. Proposed ballroom seats 650 people.
