Thanks to @PhinTTV and my parents for helping me move. I might post soon to find some work, as part of this was quitting my job, it was an amazing job, but I was feeling lost and falling into a comfort pit and depression with the way I was going through life, needed a long break

After years in Austin I moved back home to figure some things out, sorry for being MIA, I thought this year would bring about change, it definitely did, but not in the ways I imagined. A lot of self-discovery and needing to change how things have been, a new chapter I guess.

Today I went for a drive to clear my head, to find some solace from the noise. I was listening to old music, songs like That's Life by Frank Sinatra, in which its lyrics really resonated with me. And eventually the song Sweet Caroline came on, and I'm stopped at a red light, banging my head to this sweet tune, and then I feel a presence like someone is staring at me, and so I look to my right and see this old man in this convertible looking at me. I turn down the music and roll down my window, and he tells me "I love the music you're playing!", and I thank him, and I tell him it's really helping me out, and he responds telling me to turn it up and I blast Sweet Caroline. He's staying behind when there is space in front of him to listen to this music with me, and something strange happens. I feel this intense love, I'm staring forward just looking out towards the clear skies after some intense and awful weather, and I start to cry, and I look over to my right and he too is also crying, and together we shared this intimate moment that I really needed today, and I'm sure he did too. Love is everywhere in the world, but it can be hard to tune into, to listen, and so we choose if we want to carry the misery of the world, or to overcome it, to populate it with that love, or to continue on that path of fear. There was something strong in the air, something I felt, like better times are to come, regardless of how hard they may seem. It can be so hard to see through the veil and the smokescreens, but there is peace to be had within. When we find that for ourselves, when we overcome our minds and find our hearts, we can contribute more to this world. Die to yourself daily, and save your hearts from the coldness that can seep in, there is much love to be had, and much to overcome. Believe in yourself, find strength within yourself, never seek it externally. I love you all. Sorry if this is corny, but I felt compelled to share.

@JackManifoldTV I am so ready to fly abroad and dive into some authentic fish and chips. Your energy in life is unmatched Jack, it’s always a great time to be around you, soaking in your positivity and your inviting outlook on life, keep on keeping brother :)

Thank you for sharing that with me. I don’t think I’ll have a terribly hard time quitting, the hard part is timing. That’s very impressive about you and your Dad, that is something to be incredibly proud of. There will be a moment where it clicks for me, and I’ll drop it cold turkey

@ModestCube I'm 30 now, been smoking since I was 12. My Dad's been smoking since he was 9 and he's 77 years old and he quit cold turkey a year ago. I quit opiates cold turkey 2 years ago and it was the hardest things i've ever done in my life. Trust me if anyone got this, you got this.

@slowedecho Sadly not, I had a good streak a bit ago, but haven’t given it a serious second chance recently. Definitely need too though cause now it’s all downsides with it, pure addiction

I am doing medium-well, got a good outlook on life and the future, but catching up on processing things and getting back to equilibrium, and working to breakthrough some life cemented habits, especially after getting the flu bad. Currently enjoying a rave :). Hope life is serving you some hot n’ ready chicken tenders with a side of awesome-sauce yourself my man
