Star Of Lady M disappointed on Friday at Dundalk, and we are not 100% sure why – in many ways that’s racing. She certainly did not like the Polytrack, and the cold and rain probably upset her too (she showed signs of a winter coat last time we saw her).

@Tumbattle @omeararacing I thought she ran really well, on the back foot early she responded to Danny’s encouragement and was doing her best work late on. I am glad you loved the experience.

It’s incredible that with so much against her she was close enough in a Group 1, hopefully Ireland next. Thanks to @omeararacing & his team for making this dream a reality in getting us to the pinnacle of racing & Danny Tudhope who has ridden her since she arrived at Willow Farm

What a fantastic weekend in Paris. The Prix De L’Arc De Triomphe even beats Royal Ascot for pomp and circumstance but without the silly rules! France Galop organisation top class, responding to emails and being flexible and sensible with badges.

@Tumbattle I looked at it earlier this week and have to say, the likes of J M Jungle and the other UK raiders are all pretty similarly rated, so it is not the wildest throw of the dice. Couldn’t resist a little bit of 66/1, 4 places from Ladbrokes earlier. Really hope,she goes well for you.

@MoonMade6 Thanks Mark. It’s a dream - she deserves her chance. Shame about her niggles this season but her third at Beverley shows she’s still got it in her.

Well, its the big one! Those who have followed Star Of Lady M will be delighted. She is declared for the Prix De L'Abbaye De Longchamp on Sunday in Paris. It is a Group One race, so she really is at the top table.

Drawn in 12 which is not ideal - but with 19 runners its not the worst. Danny Tudhope confirmed as rider. When David and Danny won the Abbaye in 2014 - they were drawn in.....12!

@BarstewardsThe We are often bemoaning racing initiatives etc. Last week I attended the National Racehorse event (David Menusier) . Yesterday I received an e mail through Nat Racehorse/Arc inviting me to a free race day at any Arc track, for up to 6 people. A nice way to encourage new fans.
