@heyitsyogesh It's chunky, but I prefer it that way as it's a great finger anchor. People who like using devices caseless may actually appreciate it. Granted, it's the minority, but still. I'd take that chunky module any day as long as it has that hardware inside. Can't have it both ways 😅

@alexmaxham @RODENT950 When unfolded, it's great for both watching media and multitasking (x apps side by side). It makes a lot more sense than book-style foldables we have today, that's for sure.

@alexmaxham @RODENT950 These are different times. Silicon carbon was not a thing back then it can now be notably thinner, with better cameras. They could even make it a bit wider when folded. That form factor makes a lot more sense IMHO. When folded, it's great for one hand use. 1/2

@psk7ooo @MaxJmb It always looked weird. A centered punch hole is not ideal IMHO, but at least it looks better than a corner one. The design is more balanced because it. I'd even take a pill-shaped centered hole / Dynamic Island over a corner one.

@psk7ooo @MaxJmb Android phones from years ago such as the Pixel 4a, Galaxy S10, etc. Apple is adopting what Android ditched a long time ago. I cannot recall a more modern phone placing that hole in the corner, though I'm sure there are some less known ones.

@richardlai That's the phone I thought of first as well. It's still the best form factor for a book-style foldable, IMHO. If there's any truth here, this would be an even better choice (way closer to proper landscape when unfolded). N2 -> 1792 x 1920 iPhone -> 2713 x 1920
