@brynhumberstone What are your thoughts on breaking it down as as difference of cubes? (4x^2)^3 - (1)^3?

@MrSawyerMath I would first write it as (8x^3+1)(8x^3-1) and then try to recall how to factorise the sum of two cubes and the difference of two cubes. My memory is that (2x+1) is a factor of the first cubic, so I guess divide by that, and (2x-1) is a factor of the second cubic, so divide.
