The Christianity in Japan is very small, so to be honest, we neither have the time nor the reason to fall out or hurl abuse at one another over denominational differences.
We wish to remain friendly across denominational boundaries, whilst respecting each other’s traditions

Unfortunately, some replies to me has reaffirmed what I’d heard: the rift between Christian denominations is indeed significant. You are free to believe that Catholicism or Protestantism is the only true faith, but please do not impose that as the truth on others.
