@MsSammyMcHugh This is why I love the disciplinary approach to whole school literacy. It encourages us to look at literacy through a very subject specific lens!

3. C) Why do we insist on shoehorning subjects with completely different methods into these 'whole school' consistency things? You know, like lesson structures, assessment calendars, homework, and even exams. The systems and frameworks that exist aren't fit for purpose.

1. Every day really is a school day... Today I had the pleasure of working on a whole school project with colleagues from other subjects. I was waxing lyrical (as I tend to) about how lessons should work blah blah blah and was taken aback that that is indeed *not* how they work
