Michkov takes a very ill-timed interference penalty, and the Flyers will be shorthanded. It was interference. They let that go sometimes, but yeah, you don't want to put yourself in position where you have to depend upon the refs to cut you a break. Especially now.

@HendrixHockey_ @chi2phi Just to add to your point a bit, Jack Campbell had a bit of a rough start before getting a shot. Now granted, it was more Jim Carey than Carey Price, but this isn't the end all be all, especially for a goaltender.

He’s 20. Multiple NHL goalies had ECHL stints. He struggled as of late but goaltending in the AHL is arguably harder than in the NHL. The Phantoms also lost two of their top players due to call ups and their defense is shaky. This isn’t on Bjarnason at all. He’s still the future and has immense potential.

I had high hopes for Bjarnason. It's tough to see he could never take that next step. Flyers have struggled to move goaltenders through development for awhile. #LetsGoFlyers
