O presidente Trump fez um post na sua rede social, visivelmente chateado pelo fato de nenhum país ter aceitado o pedido que fez de ajuda para abrir o Estreito de Ormuz. Trump criticou particularmente a OTAN, mas também o Japão, Austrália e Coreia do Sul. No final, disse que já não quer a ajuda de ninguém e finalizou, escrevendo em maiúsculas, "NÃO PRECISAMOS DA AJUDA DE NINGUÉM"!
