Every time I have a tweet that pops off, im reminded of how stupid a lot of people are.

@BlackOlyvr you dont see the problem with your only source being a random overwatch player and not through the numerous ways the devs communicate with us? Why would I trust a random overwatch player saying random things on a forum INSTEAD of the active updates the devs give us. Holy airball

This patch my fps in vaxta stays between 240-300. I used to be able to get 600 in vaxta with no issues. My GPU, CPU, and memory usage are not even close to bottlenecking. from all low settings with 50% render scale, to 200% nothing changes. Overwatch PLEASE fix the performance

@BlackOlyvr Thats not a dev, just a random person. They said defense matrix was evolving but they didnt say in anything I saw theres confirmation of an anticheat. I want to see someone involved with blizzard to confirm it. Ive seen no interviews, dev blogs, or forum post confirming it.

I've been feeling stuck skills wise in Overwatch. I can't seem to perform well enough to be the deciding factor in my games enough to climb. Does solo q suck? Do I suck? What if I hopped on an alt account and let chat backseat the hell out of me

@Deez4sho78 @TheNotFrank You realize you dont change as a person going above 60 fps. You are still the same player. You might now care if you have 30 fps but thats just unacceptable in a hero shooter unless you're on console

@iKN_xp @neonekki core usage isnt doesnt seem like its the issue. I have my system set to prefer the performant cores also

@Nehmoe_ @neonekki Tell me if single cores are being maxed out because Im having the same issue—I upgraded skipping multiple generations and, though I did have 600fps then, Im now at the same performance I was getting on my near decade old system

@vixkous @BCLKBarbarous I have it on both cause I heard the opposite. But its around the same for both and I dont use overlays and have FSE enabled so those wouldnt even matter. Im on bnet for this test also

@Nehmoe_ @BCLKBarbarous Are you running on Steam or Bnet? I swear the game runs better on Battlenet. Also turn off every type of overlay you have

@iKN_xp I uninstalled the latest windows updates and no difference

@Nehmoe_ there was also a recent windows update that made me lose another 70 fps so Im on 250-300 now, the same I would get 5 years ago before I upgraded my computer

@nitoasd @mazooter @thatkidpolito My ranked games tend to disagree with it being the best industry AC. But I think cheating as a whole has just ramped up to an insane degree for some asinine reason.

@Nehmoe_ @mazooter @thatkidpolito it used to not be taxing enough to notice a performance drop, something in this season messed things up and they'll fix it at some point also, ow anticheat is one of the best in the anticheat "industry", they just don't go kernel level for some reason which is very effective

@rainningforyou M3 and everyone who shared specs in this thread have an x3d chip. Im starting to think the update is mostly affecting x3d chips for some reason.

@vixkous @BCLKBarbarous Yeah, I thought that might be an issue but with it off its still settled at the same FPS. Tried different frame sync methods too and no difference

@Nehmoe_ @BCLKBarbarous I've tested a bunch with RTSS on and off and this game specifically behaves weirdly if you try to cap with RTSS or any external software. You get a lot of added input lag even if the frame pacing is smoother. Capping in-game seems to be a better solution for CPU-GPU communication

@BCLKBarbarous @vixkous Currently on the latest Nvidia driver, cause older ones that I rolled back to were similar fps wise but had really bad hitches and stutters for me every once and awhile. I could try to roll back to that update, but I am starting to think it might be some weird bug with x3d cpus

@Nehmoe_ @vixkous What driver version you on btw? I personally had to roll back to 576.88 myself to fix issues i was having with alt tab crash & stutters for awhile. Granted they are seemingly gone now as well for me on 595.79 only issue ive had now is perf this season overall.

@Fasty__y I guess its time to return my 5800x3d to the grave and dust off my previous i9-9900kf. Gotta do the old, downgrade to upgrade trick!

@Nehmoe_ Yeah , I tried so much things , windows 10 , 11 , different gpu firmware , ram settings, the issue is coming from ow , and Looklike it’s only on amd cpu , intel don’t have the problem

@nitoasd @mazooter @thatkidpolito I just dont understand why it would be so taxing AND ineffective at finding cheaters. SURELY a real anticheat would be better at this point and not tank our fps as much

@Nehmoe_ @mazooter @thatkidpolito Yes that's what people mean when they mention the anticheat, overwatch has a lot of client sided cheat detections, and a lot of obfuscation so cheaters can't read stuff on game memory easily it has other things too like detecting if the game module was tampered every few seconds
