I think there has been a massive shift from Left to right in the UK today. I’m feeling it myself. Fuck Labour, Fuck Kier Starmer

Despite the awful tweets from @alaa, the reality is that there is no criminal or citizenship sanction available under UK law as it is. The Home Office could not block his citizenship because this administrative without discretion, moral or political judgement are not relevant. The issue is constitutional, not bureaucratic. This is why I no longer consent. @ConsentEnds

The more I think about this, the angrier I get. This government jailed an emotional mum for a tweet she quickly regretted and deleted - and ⁦@Keir_Starmer⁩ has expended precious resources to bring this out-and-out racist back - and is proud of it. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

My brother didn’t speak to me for 6 months after I came out as trans 🏳️‍⚧️ Then he texted: “You’re still my sibling. I was just scared. But I love you 💗” That text saved our relationship 🥹🧸

Law abiding immigration is welcome to The UK. As well as genuine asylum seeking. However if you have hate in your heart for the west, for women, LGBTQ, for any race there is no place for you in Britain.

@ThatAlexWoman Any politician no matter there political standing should be met with historic punishment for supporting this terrorist to be given citizenship and welcomed back to the country. It should go down in the history books. Old Testament type shit

I don't just want this Labour Party gone from office, there are moments of such disgust and outrage towards the irreparable damage they are wilfully levelling against our great little country I would probably do an air punch if half of them were tried for treason Every day it's like a new chapter in a horror story with this sociopathic lot

@aliciakearns Unacceptable! You should resign as an MP and let your constituency elect a new MP. And an apology is not suitable or wanted. We want deportation and revocation of his passport.

Those of us who campaigned for Alaa Abd El-Fattah’s protection and release as a British citizen plainly were not aware of his grotesque tweets, and at no point had anyone raised them with me until yesterday. I trusted the process to give Alaa citizenship, and then supported the campaign for his release. I feel deeply let down, and frankly betrayed, having lent my support to his cause which I now regret. It is wholly improper for British citizens to be detained without due process by foreign states; however Alaa must unequivocally apologise and make clear he now wholly rejects the hatred and anti-semitism he expressed which is so wholly incompatible with British values. I will continue to raise awareness of the plight of British citizens arbitrarily detained abroad and work to get them home, be it Jimmy Lai in Hong Kong, Jatgar Singh Johal in India, or Craig and Lindsay Foreman detained in Iran.

Updated BBC News on Alaa Abd El Fattah. If the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary were unaware of the “abhorrent” views of someone they publicly welcomed, will they now revoke his citizenship and deport him? How many others have been admitted to the UK who hold equally abhorrent views of which the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary remain unaware?

@Keir_Starmer Top priority, fucking hell. You should be ashamed to show your face in this country ever again. Resign from office and disappear into obscurity. You are not fit to run the country

I’m delighted that Alaa Abd El-Fattah is back in the UK and has been reunited with his loved ones, who must be feeling profound relief. I want to pay tribute to Alaa’s family, and to all those that have worked and campaigned for this moment. Alaa's case has been a top priority for my government since we came to office. I’m grateful to President Sisi for his decision to grant the pardon.

@Mr_Andrew_Fox This isn’t a left v right thing. I consider myself left of centre and I’m furious. Sackings are not enough, prism for El Fattah not enough. There needs to be serious serious repercussions that are remembered in the history books.

The Al-Fatteh affair has done exceptional damage to the social contract. The government just fought for and imported a man who hates us and has openly wished many of us killed, in some cases by his own hand. As a result of government failure, what if some people feel the need to take matters into their own hands and confront this guy in the streets? This is a disaster. The government is supposed to govern in our interests, not support our enemies. Conservatives, Labour and the Civil Service have huge questions to answer. Shocking failure of governance. There must be sackings and resignations.

It is utterly sickening that so many MPs have signed a letter advocating for Allah Abdi Al-Fatta to be allowed back into the UK. This is completely disgraceful. Every single one of them should be stripped of their position. To even label him a “British national” is an insult—and it only proves that this title is now handed out far too easily, with no regard for its meaning. Let me make one thing absolutely clear: he is not a British national. And to those currently sitting in Parliament and pretending to be running this country—your grip on power is not permanent. The public is watching, patience is wearing thin, and accountability is coming. We will take our country back and make Britain great again.

@Keir_Starmer This is seriously offensive. You need to resign immediately as well as anyone else that supported this. Britain isn’t a country that tolerates racism, anti-semitism, and bigotry.
