Davido mocked the Hausa accent with the “Debidoo” clapback, yet many northerners are still rushing to side with him over Rarara. Rarara may have his flaws and shortcomings but one thing you hardly see is southerners abandoning their own to support a northerner in a public dispute regardless of the circumstances. Absolute nonsense.
1, There are about 1 million out-of-school children in Kano.
2, There is no functional pipe-borne water system serving most residents in Kano.
3. Many primary and secondary schools in Kano are dilapidated.
4. A lot of the PHC centres in Kano look like buildings in war-ridden areas.
5. Poverty walks on its own two legs in Kano.
See, we had better demand better governance from Nigerian politicians. None of them deserves any accolade.
When I see Nigerians praising politicians, wallahi it makes me laugh. You guys are not okay in the head.
It doesn’t matter which state you’re from; there isn’t a single state in Northern Nigeria that is exceptionally well governed.

These are photos of primary health care centers in Kano, the same state that used 1.4 billion to marry off grown-ass men in the name of empowerment. This is like refusing to observe your five daily prayers and then waking up in the middle of the night to pray Tahajjud. Allaah will be furious, not pleased, with you. Misplaced priorities are one of our greatest undoings in this country. But yes, people like Yasir Arafat say Southerners are angry about the mass wedding because it gives Northern Nigeria a voting advantage. I genuinely cannot wrap my head around how some of you think. We are in crisis. We are the epicenter of poverty and illiteracy in this country, and both fuel insecurity. These are the issues we should be talking about. If we were a sensible people, we would demand that our governors address these problems before anything else.
