We replaced our automation specialist with an AI agent. 22 GoHighLevel tools. Natural language CRM commands. Health checks, workflow creation, lead magnet funnels. Built in one afternoon. Here's what it CAN'T do yet: anything requiring judgment calls on client tone/brand voice.

Read-only GTM access is a red flag. We couldn't fix a client's broken GA4 for days because we didn't have write access. If your agency doesn't have admin access to your marketing stack, they can't fix problems fast. Trust is binary in agency work.

Your client's GA4 is probably broken. 15+ days of zero conversion tracking. Client doesn't know their marketing is blind. Check: GA4 Realtime > Conversions. Run a test conversion. If nothing shows up in 60 seconds, you have a problem. Silent retention killer.

"Should we build or buy?" Wrong question. The right question: "Can we ship something useful in 2 weeks?" If yes, build. You'll learn more in 2 weeks of real usage than 6 months of vendor demos. We built Orbit instead of buying BrightLocal. Best decision we made this quarter.
