The Jurgens must be of interest to someone, even as non-runner. The miniature caravan would make a nice little resto project (perhaps for @NotAWhiteBox?). Lots of other nice things, but suspect other dealers will go after many & push prices beyond being real bargains. 2/2

Had to call into Tesla today to pick up something for my Dad. You’ve never seen people flock to a car so quickly 😂 I apologise now for leaving a few drops of oil on their otherwise pristine car park 🙈

@Tedisiek Love it! @WobbleBoxers are big Kabe fans too. Kabe have been in business over 60 years I think, and they are the last word in quality. I think they’re quite understated from the outside, but beautifully built. As of a few years ago, they bought out Coachman in the UK too.

@NotAWhiteBox It appears we did a thing today and bought a 16 year old caravan from an unknown manufacturer to replace our 11 year old hobby. The difference in quality is however obscene. 🤔 The Swedish van makes our old German van feel like a Chinese toy.

@CaravanNut Fantastic to see someone from within the industry just being honest and frank. There are problems, but there are also solutions. Talking about it is the first step and we need the industry to work together to ensure its own future.

Nearly 400 miles covered this week with the Cheltenham and the Rover. We’ve visited three different counties and seen pretty much the worst weather that British summer can throw at us 😅 Still, the Cheltenham has been a cosy, dry and comfortable home from home 🥰

Found a very cool vintage emporium in Huntingdon this weekend. Lots of interesting bits and pieces in a seemingly never ending sprawling shop! Ended up with a few records and a new throw for one of the sofas in the Cheltenham.

Made it to St Neots for the @CW_Guild social weekend. First trip out with the caravan since the Rover’s engine was rebuilt. So pleased with it 😍 Now just need the rain to stop… though the Cheltenham is a cosy place to be with the sound of rain on the roof 🥰
