Whatever you do, do not let your parents transfer their house into your name. Instead, do what the wealthy do. If your parents are retiring and they tell you they want to sign the deed of the house over to you, maybe they bought the house for next to nothing back in the eighties and now it is worth $800,000, do not do it. If they transfer it to you while they are alive, you will take their original tax basis. This means that when you eventually sell, you will have to pay capital gains tax on the entire increase in value since they bought it. The taxman does not care that it was a gift. Here is what the wealthiest families do instead: Step 1: Set up a revocable living trust and place the home inside it. It keeps your parents in full control while they are alive, but sets up a smooth, private transfer later. Step 2: Your parents should name you as the beneficiary of the trust. That way, when they pass away, the house automatically moves to you with no court involvement and no probate. Step 3: When you inherit the house through the trust, you get a stepped-up basis. That means you only pay capital gains tax on any increase in value that occurs after they passed away, not on the huge appreciation since the 1980s. That single move can save you over $120,000 in taxes. That is how you pass inheritance to your children without losing a dollar to the system. If you want to stop the government from taking a cut of your family’s hard-earned assets, follow these steps.

Wueh! Bro, Iran dey apply safty law & regulate traffic in THEIR own territorial waters (Hormuz Strait) - following international law and all. 🌊 Then US from all the way across the globe (12k KM!) call it 'EXTORTION!' and sends navy to blockade the same waters. Maina! 🤡 It’s the "audacity" for me. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Maths haifanyi sana! 📉 mpesa ni ya nini kama si ya kutuma? Who's really bullying the world? You decide. 👀👇 #HormuzStrait #InternationalLaw

Every smart person I've ever met believed in putting in the hard work and going through the shit to see real results. Every dumb fuck that I met believed the opposite. They wanted the quick win. And they wanted it now. This taught me that everything I ever wanted needed deserving. It needed me to stop being an entitled motherfucker and getting my sweat, blood and tears in. It needed me to put stakes in. It needed me to take risks. That's what stupid motherfucker are afraid of. Risk. That just exposes how real you are. Risk means nothing. What if you lose it all? What if it all goes south? Fuck it we ball. When in doubt, refer to my pinned tweet.

This statement exposes the brutal illusion of the 'Silicon Savannah.' Meta doesn't outsource innovation to Kenya; it outsources the psychological trauma of content moderation. We aren't an AI hub; we are a digital sweatshop. The moment these workers started unionizing and suing Meta in Kenyan courts for PTSD and labor violations, the San Francisco billionaires simply unplugged the cable. 1,108 livelihoods erased by a single email

What is happening with KRA? KRA audited Katahira & Engineers International Limited and raised a tax demand of 140M. Katahira went to court and won. The tax demand was killed. You would think that is the end KRA returned to Times Towers empty handed. Extremely angry. Swearing. Hiyo 140M haiwezi enda hivo. Aje? They hatched a plan. Ikaingiana perfectly. They deployed agency notices to NCBA and Stanbic banks. With stern instructions: - Freeze all Katahira accounts - Sweep the money and forward to KRA - Up to 140M Katahira directors woke up the next morning. As usual, chai ya kazini ndio hua inabamba. So they didn't take tea at home. At work, they tried to send money for tea. Accounts are frozen. They thought, KRA made an error to freeze our accounts. They served KRA and the banks with the court order that had already killed the tax. And asked them to unfreeze the accounts. KRA said they don’t want to see it. Wao wanataka tu 140M. Angry and with caffeine induced headache, Katahira ran to court again. The court could not believe it. It bashed KRA for disobedience of it's orders. And ordered the accounts to be unfrozen. They were unfrozen. Unfortunately, the court did not award legal costs to Katahira. What is happening at KRA? And who is accountable?
