Are you criticising him/her because you didn't attain your desire to be in that same position- you are an illustration of jealousy in motion....are you defending the same thing you would have criticised if someone else had done it- you are a living testimony of hypocrisy ....Yep!

It will wipe out many routine and intelligent tasks .... but human interactions are also driven by intangibles such as fear, trust, love, charisma etc....in the long run AI may create a Jevons Paradox .....where we end up having more of what we were expected to have less. Likely.

Half the time, half have no idea what is expected of them- they just enjoy occupying the position...half of the other half know what is expected but do not have what it takes to deliver...the last quarter have all it takes but are frustrated by both the system and the first half.

If those who lead a cause fail to police its principles, the cause gets taken over by those who initially opposed it or joined it for personal reasons only..... eventually, the course of the cause is diverted..... and what was meant to be the solution becomes a massive problem.

If they have enthusiasm without experience, give them responsibility but monitor... the zeal to succeed often creates the problems that lead to failure; ...if they claim to be experts, check if their expertise has yet made anyone succeed....for by their fruits ye shall know them.

In a world without guaranteed supply chains, African countries are still judged by money set aside for imports during crisis...instead of the amount spent on boosting local manufacturing to reduce imports...is it time to measure "local production cover" instead of "import cover"?

If the solutions to Africa's problems are coming from those who created the problems, then we are probably being prepared for more problems ..... if we measure our progress with yardsticks of those who stopped our progress..... we are probably working towards retrogression. Yea

We used to hear "there is nothing new under the Sun" .... in other words, everything had happened before.... but in recent years we hear statements about things "no one has ever seen before" .... is it that new things have suddenly started appearing under the Sun? Just wondering.

So far as they can get us to be afraid of others, we will confide in them as friends whilst they continue to harm us......often, if those we consider as enemies became enemies after our friends pointed them out to us, then probably it is our friend who is the real enemy. Yeah

Focus on the elite...teach falsehood in great schools... they will imbibe it as knowledge and pass it on...set false standards- they will measure their progress by it and look up to you; the unsuspecting masses will look up to them, and you can afford to look down on all of them.

Last time I checked a "prince" meant...."male descendant of a monarch; male from the royal line; son of a king or queen..." So why does the media keep referring to a "former prince"? Has the "royal blood" suddenly left his body or he is no more the son of a queen....just curious.

If we do what we do only because we are high and mighty, it means we have lost our morality.... at that point, our might quickly multiplies our hubris....and makes us eager to cross the Rubicon or to follow the path of the Rubicon to our Waterloo.... only for those who have ears.

For Africa the key to the new world is the same as the old one....ACT TOGETHER .....and if some are not ready, those who are, should start acting together in their own little ways.....at times the best way to help our peers is to leave them behind....it inspires them to catch up.

African countries often enjoy commodity boom until there is a downturn- copper, gold, cocoa, coffee, oil, diamond etc- how come Africa is not awash with commodity based sovereign wealth funds they recourse during bad times...... we probably love borrowing from the IMF instead.

Advantage and opportunity often appear and evolve in a similar manner... 1. Without conscious efforts they both remain latent   2. They first show up in the house of those to whom they are supposed to belong.... but quickly relocate to the camp of those who take necessary steps.

Problems at home, afraid of Russia, not sure of the senior partner in the transatlantic alliance ....probably Europe can get lessons from how Africa's leaders relate with Europe itself..... ie- how to cope when treated as the junior partner in a relationship between countries.

Those who remember during bad times that good times will return become optimistic ....and often even better times come ....but those who get carried away by fortune and good times become complacent and forget that nothing lasts forever....either way no condition is permanent. Yep

At each point we need help or may be of help...and the higher we go, the larger the number of those who need our help ...so we often forget those whose help we need ...and when we do not get the help we need, we end up being of lesser help to those to whom we must be of help. Yea

Failure either leads us to give up or to keep trying.... just as success either makes us complacent or motivates us to strive for more....so our future is neither determined by our past failures nor past success but by our present attitudes to past and present circumstances. Yep.
