Growth is normal, no doubt. Even top keepers make mistakes early. But let’s not force the comparison. Alisson had errors, yes… but you could still see the authority and control in his game from day one. Right now, this feels different. Too many basic mistakes, not just risky confidence. Support him, yes but don’t ignore what’s actually happening.

@ObaDerby @JamesPearceLFC Many top keepers have had worse starts at clubs. He'll be fine. I remember Ali came in and started trying to turn players in the box numerous times, but he learnt from it. Some people want to make out like he's Karius, or maybe turn him into Karius by shooting him down.

MAMARDASHVILI GOT THIS ONE. 1. Positioning: Mamardashvili always stands in the right spot. Today, you could see him not overcommitting, keeping just enough space to react. Musso, on the other hand, sometimes drifts too early and opens angles. 2. Reflexes: That double save? Pure reaction. Ball comes at different speeds, different heights, and he moves in a blink. Most keepers would panic and flop one way. He stayed calm, hands quick, body ready. 3. Timing: He didn’t rush the dive. Perfect delay so he hits the ball at peak control, not too early, not too late. That’s why it looked effortless, but it’s all practice. 4. Mental focus: You could see he was locked in. Champions League pressure, shots raining, and he never hesitated. Musso had flashes, but Mamardashvili carried the rhythm of the game for his team. x.com/ChampionsLeagu…
