I switched to woking in mode where I run an agent before executing a task just to talk with me about the ideas regarding the task, how they would do it etc. I do it in codex high and 80% of their questions for me is like "Wow, that's actually a good question - let me think about it".

@MEstrebou @quantymacro Depends on the strategy, but you can just develop a bot so, based on some rules, it takes action when a liquidation occurs. It may be risky but at least I preserve my sleep haha

Just set up any metrics in the system that you have, and connect that to Pagerduty or something similar. You can set up rules so that if you don't answer it pings someone else after X minutes.

I’m using a lot of leverage to keep capital off brypto exchanges & I’m worried abt liquidation when I sleep. what do yall use for alerts/notifications? ideally as the first step it would call me to wake me tf up and the last resort is to call the SWAT team to break into my house

There is a reason that Citadel and Virtu pay to trade against you. There is a reason your broker offers you free commissions. There is a reason Robinhood fires confetti every time you trade.

@ScottPh77711570 Anyway I will post my standard advice which will improve outcomes for 99% of retail traders here — you should stop trading, stop paying for online courses and subscriptions, work on getting better at your job, get a raise, and put the extra money into index funds.

I think that sweet spot is working hard from almost the beginning of the college and finish college with decent grades. I still see mamy good things that you can get from college so in most cases it is not optimal to drop out of it.
