We are extremely proud of our team involved in the discovery of Sir Ernest Shackleton's lost vessel, #theEndurance. The ship had been missing for more than 100 years and has now been found sitting at the bottom of the Weddell Sea, 3,000m deep. #Endurance22

We believe that cross sector partnership is an essential part of achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. That is why we have partnered with the @NTNUnorway to sustainably gather marine environmental data that can be used to build understanding and drive change.

We've been working alongside @ForestCarbon_UK to support the restoration of just under 50 hectares of woodland in Scotland. That is about 74,000 trees! The site is a great space for wildlife and biodiversity to thrive and will sequester over 20,000 tCo2.

With funding from @transportgovuk we are developing a zero emission marine propulsion system as a greener and cleaner replacement for traditional fuel. We're proudly showcasing this project today at @COP26 as just one example of our work to transform operations at sea.

Landfill sites will remain a major environmental hazard unless we reduce consumption and embrace new ways of handling waste. Enter @advetec who have developed a system to reduce waste to landfill. We're proud to have our own Advetec system. Read more: bit.ly/3qi0LIz

If you haven't already, check out @theoceanbottle. In 2020, we introduced their bottles onto our conventional vessels to reduce single use plastic. Our order of 360 bottles funded the collection of approximately 360,000 plastic bottles from the ocean. Amazing work!

Cross partnership is a fundamental part of successfully taking action against #climatechange. In 2019 we partnered with the Weddell Sea expedition to deploy marine robots to investigate the impact that climate change was having on the environment in Antarctica.

3/3 Our search for MH370 in 2018 used 80% less fuel and emitted 72% less CO2 than an average survey vessel. Since then, all our efforts have been focused on creating greener, safer, and smarter operations, leading us to build the first ever carbon neutral fleet of #robotic ships.

2/3 It quickly became clear to us that using marine robots in fleets not only meant that higher quality data was captured faster, but that it was better for the planet. Since 2016, we have been involved in some of the most advanced #robotic fleet operations in the world.

1/3 Ocean Infinity was born out of an idea to challenge conventional operations in the maritime industry. This idea turned out to be the seed that our mission was born out of: to use innovative technology to transform operations at sea, to enable people and the planet to thrive.
