On the limits of borrowed infrastructure. Solana has more DEXs than any other chain. Token-2022 hooks have been part of the spec for over a year. Combining the two is still inconsistent — supported in some pools, ignored in others, restricted in places that should be open. So we're not borrowing. Solana has always been described as parallel. Multiple cores, multiple threads, one runtime. The architecture is well documented. What it has lacked is a cultural object that makes the parallelism legible. O-PEG is an attempt to provide one. The 888 octopi are derived from it. Each image is a 24×24 collectible rendered fully on-chain — no IPFS, no Arweave. The seed is a hash of the wallet, the transaction signature, and the slot. That hash is what gets rendered. An octopus is the only animal whose biology is shaped the same way the chain is. Eight arms, eight layers, one body. Multiple, simultaneous, coordinated. The shape of the chain, rendered.
