We lost Jack Bruce today 25th October 2014, Incredible bass player, underrated singer and a big musical influence on me, I taught myself to play Bass listening to Cream LP's and that Gibson EB3. he had a great car history too.. Pls RT

Happy Birthday to a friend & legend, Mr. Bernard "Pretty" Purdie (June 11, 1939) He is known for his precise musical time keeping and his signature use of triplets against a half-time backbeat: the "Purdie Shuffle."He was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 2013.🎂🤩

@JonathanBSmall @60sPsychJukebox Except our sound predated @TheAssociation1 as the material on our first two albums was written & arranged by Bruce Arnold in 1965 while he was in the folk group, The Villagers. @SundazedMusic had plans to release recordings of this early material but were blocked by Alan Lorber.

On May 29th, 1969 Orpheus shared the stage with legendary anti-establishment rockers MC5 at a ski lodge / music venue called the Silverbell Hideout in Pontiac Township, Michigan. Other local acts such as Bob Seger, The Amboy Dukes and Iggy And The Stooges were frequent headliners

Fun fact: Did you know @itstonybennett loved this #BruceArnold composition off our second album and wanted to do a cover? Unfortunately, he was unable to replicate the falsetto sections so had to abandon his plans. Oh well. #orpheus #minesyours
