I bought a woman who was begging a coffee & pastry- with someone shrieking at me “it’s a scam”. Maybe it was..the lady didn’t have much English so I couldn’t find out. But she was still sitting in a freezing doorway. It cost me £4.45 to treat her like a human being. Was I wrong?
