@rdohms @michellesanver Plus we had more women and people of color speaking at the unconference track on Saturday. Which always is a good place to start speaking in public.

@michellesanver We are comparing to a situation where "No women applied", in that light, two accepted talks is 200% more. Obviously a ways to go, but proves that there is a market to work with and something else stopped people from submitting to PHPCE.

Regarding PHPCE.EU: Nearly no women applied to the conference. Can we stop pointing fingers and start analyzing instead to see where we can improve? Gender diversity in German PHP groups in general seem low (observation, not fact). Why? 🤔

Call for Ownership: I have this draft feature project proposal lying around for a #WordPress notifications center: bit.ly/wp-notify-prop… Is anyone with experience interested in taking ownership of this? It is very much needed, by I don't have the resources to commit to this.
