Been having some fun with the John Hollinger developed Game Score, a metric which tries to quantify production of major counting stats (including negative events like fouls and turnovers) and efficiency in a game. Obviously this is just one man's formula (a really smart one IMHO) that weighs certain things certain ways. But it is something to consider as a framework for comparing game performances. A Game Score of 40+ is considered an outstanding game and a rare one. For example there have been 30 in the entire league this year. Cooper Flagg’s Game Score of 44.2 on Friday is the highest for a rookie in the Game Score available time frame dating back to 1977-78 on @Stathead! Coop has 6 of the top 10 Game Scores for rookies this year and was the first rookie to break 40 since Blake Griffin. His games against Orlando on Friday (44.2) the Lakers on Sunday (39.5) and Charlotte on Jan 29 (40.1) rank as 3 of the top 5 rookie Game Scores since 2010-11!

Their a tanking team because Flagg isnt a positive impact player yet and Kon is. The hornets were a tanking team with the same exact roster last year and then they landed Kon and had the largest win% change in history. Pretty simple.
