at my mom's funeral, we only had time for a few people to get up to speak. One of them declined standing at the podium and instead stood directly in front of me (and my sisters, who are not religious). She then, into the mic, beseeched us to come to Christ, how mom would have wanted this, etc.
Then the next person who came up also declined the podium, stood in front of us, holding the mic, and talked about how the only thing she loved more than her girls was jesus and she of course only wants one thing for us.
Then we were out of time, and the pastor went up, and he closed by looking at us was like "If your mom could come back she'd be trying to tell you that it's all real."
