Levelled up 🟦🙏 Thanks everyone at my gym for the training with me <3 Starting jiujitsu has honestly been one of the best decisions i’ve made - there’s something special about the contrast of how subjective and arbitrary the music industry can be, with how grounded and objective something like jiujitsu can be. Something about the act of showing up, getting crushed by people who are straight up just better than you, and then going home having gotten some concrete but tiny percentage better than you were before, is extremely addictive but also a great way to keep your ego in check. Being surrounded by people who are so tough and disciplined yet still cool, open minded and able to change and adapt is always really inspiring 🙏 Looking forward to many more years of getting beaten up 🥋
