@MarieCoronelSD @10News @RubenFog57 is such a blessing to the San Diego community. Also, one of the Latino leaders I look up to. He's doing it right, and it's inspiring to watch him lead and live out his calling as a family and local leader.

Tune in to @10News Thursday morning, as I introduce you to the Niebla family. Two coaches inspiring so many players through the years, while raising their own student athletes. #SDOpeningDay

@JimRussellSD @jonschaeffer Soto had great season-long numbers. No debate there. My point is about clutch moments when the Padres were still alive in 2023.

@ProfG2013 @jonschaeffer And still had a 5.3 WAR, was the best player on the Padres, led the team in every offensive statistic. But hey it was all his fault that year lol

@JimRussellSD @jonschaeffer Naw, I said what I said and with my chest. I will say he was the GOAT in that 2019 WS. Happy to give you more scenarios if you'd like.

@JimRussellSD @jonschaeffer To be only two games behind the Diamondbacks, winning the series tie, and seeing how close we were to winning those games where Soto could have come in clutch. You can keep your statistics, but when the game mattered, Soto didn't step up to those stats.

@JimRussellSD @jonschaeffer But on 09/17/23 he did hit 2 HR's & had 6 RBI's...I believe his first ever grand slam. But that was against the A's who were out of it and we were out of it according to Josh Hader. Interestingly though, we were completely in the hunt on 07/26/23 when the game mattered.

Dr. Bryan Pearlman #MaslowBeforeBloom
I have worn many hats in my life as a teacher, principal, gifted director, therapist, adjunct professor, author, and keynote speaker, and through every role I have learned the same truth. Success is not about titles or recognition, it is about how you choose to show up for people and for yourself. Lead with kindness and integrity. Build real human connection. Stay curious and keep learning. Take meaningful risks even when fear shows up. Focus your energy on what you can control and let go of what you cannot. Work hard when no one is watching, stay persistent when things feel heavy, and keep your focus clear when distractions try to pull you away. Surround yourself with people who know more than you do and who challenge you to grow. Expect naysayers and keep moving forward anyway. Remember Maslow before Bloom because people cannot truly grow, learn, or thrive until they feel safe, valued, and seen. Setbacks are not proof you are failing, they are evidence that you are trying, stretching, and becoming. Keep going because the work you do and the way you show up can change someone’s life in ways you may never fully see.

Leadership isn’t just about speaking. It’s about listening as well. The better you listen to your players, the better you can lead them.

HERO: Jon Bon Jovi saved a woman's life in Nashville 😭 He was walking on a pedestrian bridge when he saw a woman standing on the ledge. He immediately walked over, spoke to her, and persuaded her to climb back to safety ❤️ Bless this man! 🙌
