A big boost to ‘Ease of Living’ and ‘Ease of Doing Business’… It’s a matter of immense delight that Parliament has passed the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill 2026. This Bill strengthens a trust-based framework that empowers our citizens. It marks the end of rules and regulations that are outdated. At the same time, it ensures speedy disposal of cases, reduces litigation burden with decriminalisation. What is also noteworthy is the consultative approach with which this Bill was drafted. My compliments to all those who have given their insights towards the drafting of the Bill and supported it in Parliament.

Had a thoughtful conversation with former deputy speaker, Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal ji on curriculum, language, and equal learning opportunities in India bringing key concerns to the fore—especially disparities across boards and the challenges faced by many students. NEP 2020 and NCFSE 2023 respond with a balanced vision ensuring national coherence while recognising that learning is deeply shaped by a child’s context, culture, and language. Emphasising mother tongue learning strengthens foundational skills, builds confidence, and makes education more meaningful and accessible, while enabling students to master additional languages for wider opportunities.

Samagra Shiksha supports States in strengthening inclusive and equitable school education, including targeted interventions to bring out-of-school children into the system. While efforts continue to improve enrolment and transition to higher classes, focused measures are being implemented to expand access for disadvantaged sections. #EkAtmaManavDarshan

#EkAtmaManavDarshan
