@mikesmithshow @WallStreetApes Oh my goodness, we should spend billions saving the peaches, I guess? What an illogical comment. One has nothing to do with the other. The Administration can walk and chew bubblegum. The Ag Dept is working on food issues, but Del Monte going bankrupt isn't Trump's fault.
English

@WallStreetApes 55,000 tons of peaches rotting while we spend billions bombing a country on the other side of the planet . . . American agriculture is collapsing in real time and nobody in DC even notices because war is better TV

55,000 tons of peaches no longer have a buyer at this Peach orchard in California because Del Monte went bankrupt
Del Monte Foods is the long time major buyer and processor of California peaches, now roughly 70 long-term contracts with California peach growers are terminated
Over 75,000 tons of peaches no longer have buyers for the upcoming season, disrupting an entire industry

@libsoftiktok Ok, is the Trump Admin aware? I'm sure someone will be fired immediately once they find out. Please keep us posted.

@DudespostingWs He should have gone Duke Nukem on the kids after he was finished.

@JimFergusonUK That was like 2 weeks ago, so we're at about the point he predicted it would happen. He said 2-3 weeks back about 2 weeks ago.

🚨 IRAN FACING ECONOMIC BREAKING POINT
Reports indicate President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned internally that without a ceasefire…
Iran’s economy could collapse within weeks.
Behind the scenes:
• Rising inflation
• Currency collapse
• Sanctions pressure
• Deepening rift with the IRGC
Nothing confirmed publicly.
But the cracks are starting to show.

@NiohBerg Let's hope when the vultures finally gather for the feast that his body and their bodies are violently mingled together.

🚨 One of Iraq’s most prolific and high-profile Shia terrorist has reportedly arrived in Tehran.
Abu Azrael, IRGC-linked militia commander and loyalist to Khamenei and the Islamic Republic, is now in Tehran coordinating with the regime against Iranian unrest and preparing for potential U.S. ground deployment.
A former fighter against U.S. forces in 2003, he later rose through Iran-backed militias operating in Iraq and Syria.
Famous for videos showing him using swords, axes, and fire on captives. He bragged about “spit-roasting” ISIS fighters, burning bodies, slicing charred corpses “like shawarma,” and his motto “Illa tahin” (“I’ll grind you to dust” / “nothing but flour”). Even his own militia (Kataib al-Imam Ali) disavowed him at one point over a video of him burning a dead fighter.
He built his reputation on sectarian violence, with documented involvement in executions, abuse of detainees, destruction of civilian areas, and publicly glorifying the desecration of bodies.
PMF units tied to him have been accused by human rights groups of looting, forced displacement, and targeting Sunni communities during operations.
The man who fought Americans in Iraq is now in Tehran.
It would be poetic and amazing if he is killed in Iran by Americans.

If you want to understand Trump’s on-again, off-again tweets about what he’s going to do to Iran, remember what he said in 2015. I get it’s easy to criticize Trump. But it’s more important to understand him:
In a 2015 radio interview with @hughhewitt , Trump repeatedly emphasized that U.S. leaders (and he himself as a potential leader) should avoid being too predictable in foreign policy and military matters, as this telegraphs intentions to adversaries and weakens negotiating or strategic positions.
When pressed on specific foreign policy scenarios (e.g., responses involving China or Middle East groups), Trump declined to detail plans, arguing that unpredictability was a strength:
“I wouldn’t want to tell you, because frankly, they have to, you know, somebody wrote a very good story about me recently, and they said there’s a certain unpredictability about Trump that’s great, and it’s what made him a lot of money and a lot of success. You don’t want to put, and you don’t want to let people know what you’re going to do with respect to certain things that happen. You don’t want the other side to know.”
He also told the WP:
“I don’t want them to know what I’m thinking, does that make sense? I want people to be guessing ... I don’t want people to figure it out. I don’t want people to know what my plan is. I have plans. I have plans! But I don’t want to do it.”
