@bluewmist Aggressive hyper independence. They are the 'fixer' in their group and can manage everyone else's crises flawlessly, but they cannot articulate their own needs or ask for a simple favor when they are the ones sinking. They weaponize their competence to avoid being vulnerable.

I love twitter because yall can articulate my own feelings better than me 😭

@bluewmist For me it’s the extreme self awareness, they’re so hyper aware of their own coping mechanisms to a point where they can narrate their own breakdown while it’s happening

Don’t know about this, but I’ve definitely noticed an uptick in my packages getting delivered at the wrong address 😐

This move was a huge mistake. The apology won’t win over the crowd you're trying to please—they were never your audience to begin with. They don’t buy games. They don’t support studios. They just look for the next thing to tear down. Meanwhile, the people who were rooting for you? They're now questioning if you’re just another developer folding under pressure.
You should never feel obligated to say sorry for wearing something or holding a personal belief. That’s not “bad optics”—that’s just being a human being. The outrage mob doesn’t deserve your energy, and they definitely don’t deserve a say in your creative decisions.
Stand firm, build your game, and let your work do the talking. That’s the only way to move forward.
