The inspiration for that song was all the badass double-time rap, ethereal, master-class lyricist, catchy-hook songs that you put out. I get close, but it always feels sterile—maybe because I’m not a rap guy, just a big fan of what you do. Adding a dancehall mix is the default remedy when the music isn’t doing what I want it to do. Somehow, it all works out. 🤌
