Many Christians argue we shouldn't be involved in politics because we're called to be "exiles" on earth. This produces a "loser" attitude of passivity & retreat from the public square. They say, "our citizenship is in heaven," so we should bow out of politics. Not so fast. 1/8

Dreams do come true, and the Creator’s genius is revealed in every season. His eternal and transformative will (tho mysterious thru myriad unexpected or unsavory events), constructs every detail and delight of life perfectly unto both a human experience and heavenly expression!

Papa can’t brag about a poor shot at a young buck on Opening Day. But he can admire 2 grandsons (Papa had to leave for a men’s conference) who for hours tracked the wounded buck thru dense woods before finding it. What 6&8 yr old boys would do this? I’m totally awed by this!

Here, unaware and with no purpose other than worship, I found myself at an alter @impactchurchgso⁩ Sunday evening service. A son-in-law caught this heavenly and humbling moment of his 2 yo son mimicking Papa. Their innocent, pure, and inquisitive eyes demands our sincerity.

Ironic that a young pastor would be spotted near an old, well worn, fishing boat… There may be in this culture softer alternatives in bringing souls to Christ, but being a fisher of men speaks of the arduous labor, timeless wisdom, and priceless passion that Christ modeled.

When God made boys… Here, 3 adolescent brothers apply laws of gravity, leverage, and machinery breakdown to respect and honor the Creator. They’ll learn early that Romans 1 will not be their epitaph; but rather they’ll increase in the knowledge and faith of our Father’s love.

You have to expand the pic to catch the action. But here w the expanse of the Atlantic & endless miles of uncluttered beaches, 4 little g-sons content themselves w shovels & a few sq ft of sand. What if we all enjoyed life’s simplicity apart from the clutching pursuit of it all?

Tell me something good happening in your church or faith community this week? Goodness is present in the family of God, and sometimes I wish we talked about it more.

Differences among these 4 brothers are many. And vast. Yet, they’re all Wilkersons, all equally healthy, all equally attired, and all equally loved by parents. Convinced we’re better in every way when we see others thru the eyes of caring parents rather than as rivaling siblings.

Could center on the loss and death of late, but would rather turn to what remains. We’ve added seats to our tables and sound relationships are on the increase. Pastors here are preaching truth with passion and souls are coming to Christ. His presence is tangible and overwhelming.

Had this crew on the front row at church yesterday. Their exuberant worship was contagious, their boldness an inspiration! No fabrication, no pretense, no sense of duty nor ostentation. Unknowingly, they demonstrated the purity and genuineness creation was intended to enjoy.

Maybe there’s a better way to wind down from a ministry filled day, but presently I can’t imagine anything greater! Squeezing 4 grandsons before they “hit the hay” is much needed group therapy, and hearing them give thanks to God for today’s special moments is of another order.

@SaraGraceLady No debate needed or desired. Simply bearing witness to Christ and scripture. There will be a resurrection of both the just and damned. Their ends will not be the same. Please reconsider. The gospel of Christ saves those who believe, and condemns those who won’t. Praying for you.

@SaraGraceLady You missed my question. There’s no question that Christ died for all mankind, but not all will believe and receive him. For according to John 8:24, if a man will not believe that He is the Christ, he will die in his sins. If so, do unbelievers gain the rewards of those who do?

@SaraGraceLady Hey dear daughter, doesn’t ICor15 speak specifically of a resurrection for believers, one that ends with glorified bodies and forever united with Christ? Would Paul teach that the unbelieving wicked would also rise with the believing righteous in this glorious resurrection hope?
