@FillMeInPodcast @NYTGames Yet again, @NYTGames runs a #crossword that the @Puzzazz app can support easily while the #NYT app fails. It's mystifying. We helped the NYT for free for many years, until they blocked us. We've offered to work with them, but it looks like they'd rather have a broken app.

@NYTGames @xtinaiverson Nice idea. It’s a shame that you don’t allow solvers to use the @Puzzazz app anymore. Everyone could have access to both sets of clues for the @nytimes @NYTGames #crossword in one download. One of many fantastic Puzzazz features.

It’s not just crosswords. There is one solver who has told us at least 20 times over the years that they’re never solving the @Puzzazz Daily Puzzle again. And yet ….

@Puzzazz is Puzzazz no more? The daily puzzle updates are failing for me and the log says “App suspended”…

@rackenfracker @mentalplaypark @puzzlereric @liari77_becky @foggybrume The @Puzzazz app works wonderfully well on the new M1 and M2 macs. So it's now iOS and macOS. (And the work we did to handle absolutely any screen size, rather than just the known devices list, has paid off.) I wish everybody had an M-series Mac!

@danfeyer @puzzlereric @NYTimesWordplay If only there was an app that already supported puzzles like the @nytimes variety puzzles and did a phenomenal job in the process. Although the NYT won’t allow you to solve their puzzles in Puzzazz, we have lots of variety and other puzzles available. cc: @NYTimesGames

@puzzlereric @NYTimesWordplay Solvers who have to print out the Variety grid, rather than solve on an app or website that provides a prominent link to Wordplay: all of then (assuming that's part of the reason - but yes of course, they do need to try it!)

@TraytonO We would LOVE to have Puzzazz on Android! We have made some progress towards a “universal” version, but we’re a tiny company with extremely limited resources, so we can’t make any promises. This probably won’t help, but it runs beautifully on the new M1 Macs w/ #AppleSilicon.

@NYTimesWordplay has blocked subscribers from solving #NYTXW puzzles any apps but their own. Very disrespectful to its loyal subscribers who pay a premium. Much prefer @Puzzazz and will reconsider renewing or gifting.

Please reconsider your decision @nytimes to block @Puzzazz from being the best platform to do the #NYTXW on. Puzzazz offers a great way to keep your puzzles stylistically in sync. Allowing them to continue would be far simpler than redesigning your online solver.

For only the 14th & 15th time in decades, I didn’t solve the #NYTXW Monday & today. Other 13 times were when I was the puzzle author. I ❤️ the puzzle and #WillShortz but with @nytimes @NYTimesGames blocking us from solving in @Puzzazz, I don’t know when I’ll solve it again. #Sad!

@Puzzazz I can't emphasize enough what a big deal this is. On a weekly basis, the NYT app fails to accurately reproduce the daily crossword, usually because of some delightful bit of cleverness from the constructor. @Puzzazz ALWAYS gets it right.

.@NYTimesGames For years I’ve subscribed to NYT crossword & solved it in the excellent app @Puzzazz. Now you have cut off their ability to download #NYTXW for subscribers. Don’t force us to use your inferior app. Puzzazz duplicates the printed puzzle & it helps you to support it.
