💛 R U OK? Day 💛 Domestic violence often hides in silence. Asking “R U OK?” can help someone feel seen, heard, and supported. You don’t need to have all the answers — just be there, listen, and encourage seeking help. If you or someone you know is affected, call 1800RESPECT for 24/7 support. #RUOKDay #YouAreNotAlone #DomesticViolenceAwareness

R U OK?Day is a reminder to start a conversation ANY day of the year. But what if someone tells you they're not OK? Find tips on what you can say and do to support those you care about at ruok.org.au/how-to-ask

Congratulations and thanks to the Domestic Violence Prevention Centre (DVPC) and their partners for hosting an incredibly insightful and impactful conference on the beautiful lands of the Kombumerri Saltwater people. QCDFVR's Senior Research Fellow Dr Liane McDermott attended The Disruption Conference — two powerful days of connection, learning, and deep reflection with the sector. The event focused on strengthening responses to domestic and family violence and amplifying the voices of victim-survivors at the heart of this work. #TDC2025 #qcdfvr #domesticviolenceawareness #dfvprevention #safercommunities

Suewellyn was fortunate to be able to attend one of the technology abuse risk assessment and safety planning workshops delivered by Grant through the Concentric Concepts RITA program for victim-survivors of DFV.
