Yo, I’ve been streaming almost every day since Abstract launched, and it’s turned into a nice break from the other platforms. At first, I used it for random filler through the week, saving my prime time for Saturdays, but it’s growing on me more each day. This week, I’ve put in close to 40 hours, with another 12 lined up for tomorrow. Sunday, I’ll share my new schedule with extra times and days to catch me live. I’m stoked about Abstract’s growth, it feels like they’re really listening to us, making changes based on community feedback. Being on the ground floor of something this promising? I couldn’t be happier.

@skizdidlyidler Yeah I tried. Trust me. I spent all my art generation credits in chat for like 5 days in a row

@R3birth Sounds like you just need UI to represent the data in a fun way. You definitely don't need 3D assets for this. Think paper mario meets chrono trigger

45 seconds. That's how long it took me to hate something I spent 2 weeks building. Claude Code built the whole thing in one session. Every system worked first run. Opened the finished product and wanted to close the tab. Should've built something ugly in a day before spending 2 weeks on the master plan. Back to the drawing board.

So the first project that I built I pieced it together using all Claude code. What really helped with building my second project was giving all the information to Claude code and having it give me a design spec. There's also an article that I gave it and said to follow these as best practices. I'll see if I can find it.

@R3birth I don't know if it's fun 😅 building something useful for industrial environment. Every time I feel I'm very close to launching it, I complicate things by adding other features that force me to redo part of what should already be finalized.

Spent all day in Claude Code learning new skills and trying to get better at what I'm building. Took a break to check the timeline. Ghost town. And the Mac Mini jokes are back. That trend died two weeks ago... You can always tell when there's nothing going on because people start recycling engagement tactics that already worked once. I miss when you could open this app and actually find something interesting.

I used Claude Cowork for the 1st time today and it's everything I wanted OpenClaw to be. Using it for basic tasks like researching the best local coffee shops in my area, finding their hours, menus, Google reviews, and summarizing it for me. Then just watching it get to work doing different searches, using JavaScript to write me a doc, then auto-adding it to my Google Drive. It actually tells me what it's doing and what it still has left to do like OpenClaw was supposed to do like 10 updates ago. Did the same thing with photography for my wife, then had it create a pitch deck for me. I've put off using it for this long for security concerns (just didn’t wanna give AI access to my desktop), but I finally have a good burner for it. I see the possibilities are endless and I'm about to get crazy with it. Any recommendations that you've found helpful?

@xxCJ78xx I haven't done any of them yet. There's still one more project I want to test out building before I dive in. Is it a full featured catalog of courses? Are they bite-sized or is it something you have to dedicate massive time to?

@R3birth Yeah. Definitely not missing much. Did you do any of the learning courses for claude on skilljar yet? I knocked out a a couple full courses already. They're helpful to get an understanding how agents work for customization.

@R3birth Had a similar experience last night, not a build but a discussion with Claude and realized my brilliant idea isn’t so brilliant… sigh…. On to the next! 💡

@R3birth And if you have Claude creating an agent that identifies a game Designer expert that worked on caberpunk 2077?

@xlTrueslx Claude doesn't develop the visual assets the way I want. I tried going back and forth with some of her both chatGPT prompts but never got the output I wanted. And then layering them in a world became too complex. Which is why I scaled back to just the spreadsheet style.

@xlTrueslx The intention was to build a POC for something else that I'm building right now. So it worked. I just didn't like it. It looked like a spreadsheet on a web page. I don't have the game asset design experience to make it look better.

@R3birth What was the Intention. A game? Or a society simulation? What did you dislike? How it looked, how it felt, how it behaved?

@0xmani I'm still learning the balance. I built my first product from scratch and pieced it together until it was done. But it felt pieced together. I just need to find the middle ground

@R3birth The good thing is it wasn’t a complete loss and you learned valuable things and lessons from it - the next one you build won’t end up like this

The spec sheet was 20 pages long. Here's the quick AI brief: - 10 AI agents in a cyberpunk settlement - Each one has a personality file that tells the AI how to think and talk - They mine, craft, trade, commit crimes, get punished - Full economy with taxes, wages, treasury - A governance AI that monitors resources and replaces dead workers - Weather that mechanically affects production - Characters level up through reputation - Runs locally on a Mac Mini. Zero API costs - Claude Code built all 32 systems from the spec in one session Fire away with the dumb comments.

The idea sounded incredible in my head. Then I saw it working and realized I'd built a fancy spreadsheet that updates itself. Bright side: learned how to structure builds as skill folders from an Anthropic engineer's breakdown. (Can't find the article) Also got hands-on with Ollama, Qwen, Redis, SQLite, PM2. So it wasn't a complete loss.
