Generative AI on 1982 hardware. Z80, 3.5MHz, 40KB size. Someone else came up with this gem, I just ported it to the old good rubber Speccy.

How much longer ppl can keep dying for a Czar who denies them Youtube?
What are they fighting for? For their own version of globalization? To fulfill the ambition of becoming the "third Rome"?
They are killing their own future just to spite the West.

I made a game for the #zxspectrum. Again :)
This is the first-ever 3D platformer for the Spectrum, featuring mind-blowing labyrinths and logical puzzles. The game has 6 unique levels, cool gameplay mechanics, and excellent responsive controls.

ZX Spectrum Next Kickstarer 3.0 starting within hours - don't miss it if you are a #zxspectrum (or #sinclairql or even #Commodore64 fan). It is a pretty decent retro machine (not an emulator!) with a native HDMI output which makes it easy to use.

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg I read a lot about that. Sadly Russia has not yet adopted consensual rule, neither in internal, nor in foreign affairs.
It rules by blunt force, disrespects and often exploits or colonizes weaker polities.
Which is why Russians always feel a danger of a rebellion / collapse.
English

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg Wait what? Look up, we are in a thread about Serbia.
Exceptionally, that country largely benefited from its relations with Russia, and it is not its neighbor, so they like it.
But no neighbor of Russia is that way, sadly, because they all had been bullied or outright colonized.
English

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg Serbia just happened to be far enough to not be affected.
Otherwise you'd be quickly renamed Yugorossiya and asked to drop that version of archaic Russian that you're speaking over there.
Maybe that's what you need to experience to get the point.
English

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg By what definition? Mind you, in Soviet times Soviet historians were not afraid to use the formulation "colonialism of the Czarist regime" (example: elib.shpl.ru/ru/nodes/70382…)
So you now want to dispute Stalinist historians? Modern neoimperialists are schizophrenic.
English

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg Of all colonial empires, Russia was the worst and it is still refusing to stop getting unwilling people under its control by sheer force (see Ukraine, and Chechnya earlier).
English

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg Juat like other northern peoples further east, they were relatively untouched by the colonization because Europeans didn't settle there en masse, that's why.
Again, NA colonization was bad. Just as colonization of Caucasus, Siberia, Middle Asia, some of which is still ongoing.
English

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg Also as I said see the Alaska example. There are populations that had been actually split by the border and guess on which side they could stay in their homes and continue with their way of life, and on which side they were ruthlessly removed to create a buffer.
English

@RCL @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg What? Siberian tribes were never exterminated and had equal standing to everyone else in the country. They still survive to this day, they have their own schools, their own culture and their own identity. It's totally not comparable to the "conquest" of America.
English

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg You should read more about the past and present events there instead of presenting an idealized image. And even now, Siberia remains colonized and exploited for the benefit of a far away metropoly, and its peoples are second class in their "own" country
English

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg Both enabled and then stopped. And got tens of millions of ppl killed in the process, and half of Europe held against their will under his brutal regime.
Also, a million of his people preferred to join Nazis despite being subhumans to them. Tells something about his rule.
English

@RCL @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg No. They had worse. They exterminated the original population of an entire continent. Hitler tried to do half of that and it was Stalin who stopped him. Because he was the target.
But somehow, Stalin is the bad guy.
There's no helping you.
English

@real_Miroslav @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg Americans are not angels, but they have not had leaders like Stalin or Hitler (yet, maybe this is changing).
English

@RCL @bkaradzic @KitKlarenberg For example, Americans literally cut a mountain into the shape of some guys' heads. All of them were, by definition, genocidal maniacs.
What's your problem with Russians remembering their past??? And why only Russians?
