BREAKING | UK Police to Use Israeli Armoured Vehicles Battle-Tested on Palestinians in Gaza This week, Londoners spotted the City’s Metropolitan Police trialling new ‘Sandcat’ armoured vehicles across the capital. The SandCat is manufactured by Israeli defence company Plasan which for over three decades has been a key supplier of deadly equipment to the Israeli military. According to Israel Defence, Plasan supplied up to 700 SandCats to the Israeli military following the start of Israel’s ongoing genocide on Gaza. Sandcats are reportedly going to be used by the Met Police for “serious public disorder”, a Met spokesperson recently told the BBC.
