Nigerian dakta, pls let’s fight about our remuneration, that will be better, this is why government refuse to take us seriously, because we are busy fighting ourselves instead of fighting about the poor pay in healthcare

I think what People that are non-medical doctors fail to realize is that as regards to health(in terms of things that relates to a doctor) the gap in knowledge between you and a medical doctor is so unfathomably wide...

In addition to this. Radiography is divided into medical Radiography and Industrial Radiography. Medical Radiographers work in hospitals to produce images for diagnosis and treatment. Industrial Radiographers work in industries, breweries, aerospace, oil&gas etc specializing in non-destructive testing of goods and products without damaging the structures, gamma spectrometry etc. They're very few in Nigeria though. All in all, Radiographers are the custodian of Radiation (ionizing and non-ionizing radiation).
Aremo David@Hon_aremo

A lot of people mix these two up, but they’re very different roles in medical imaging: A radiologist is a medical doctor (MBBS/MD) who specializes in interpreting medical images like X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. After medical school, they go through years of residency training in imaging. 👉 Their job is to analyze images, make diagnoses, and write official reports that guide treatment. 👉 They also advise other doctors on what imaging to request and may perform image-guided procedures. A radiographer (also called a radiologic technologist) is a trained healthcare professional (not a doctor) who operates the imaging equipment. 👉 Their job is to position patients correctly, take the X-rays or scans, and ensure image quality and safety (like minimizing radiation exposure). 👉 They don’t usually give final diagnoses, though they may notice abnormalities. Simple way to remember it: Radiographer = takes the image 📸 Radiologist = interprets the image 🧠 Both are essential.. you can’t get a good diagnosis without a properly taken image, and you can’t treat properly without accurate interpretation.

@king_pearxe Just last week, an orthopaedic case came for lumbosacral CT with “spinal stenosis” as the indication. I reached out and suggested MRI would be more appropriate and the doctor agreed. Approach matters, at the end of the day, we’re all working in the patient’s best interest.

The next time you go to Computer Village in Lagos, pay attention to something. There are guys at the entrance. They'll ask you, "Bros, wetin you wan buy?" You tell them. They take you to a shop. Then they disappear. What most people don't know is... Before those guys brought you to that shop, they had already agreed with the seller that whatever you spend, they get a percentage. Some of those guys make ₦15,000 or more in a single day. That's close to ₦500,000 a month. They don't have a shop. They don't have a warehouse. They don't own a single product. They just connect people who want something with people who have it. And they collect a commission. This is one of the oldest business models in the world. Uber does it. They don't own cars. Airbnb does it. They don't own houses. Amazon does it by connecting customers to vendors. None of them own what they sell. They just own the connection. And the beautiful thing is you don't have to stand under the sun on a street in Lagos to do the same thing. You can do it from your bedroom. 1. Find a hot product people want and are willing to pay for. 2. Promote it. 3. Get paid. It's that simple. If you're interested, I've shown over 30,000 people how to do this, and I've seen many of them change their lives with it. You can find out how by clicking on the link in my bio.
