With N prices as they are, just some food for thought. This is approx N lb needed month-to-month for a 200bu corn crop. This assumes 1.2lb N/bu, which is not universal. Soil type obviously plays into this decision, along with equipment, time, on-farm storage, etc.

You can't manage what you don't measure. Are you matching your irrigation applications to your root depth? @CropMetrics @crop_x irrigation tech gives you eyes and ears below grade, helping you maximize your inputs and only irrigating when you need to!

@Tye_Marquardt I was just curious if it made a difference if a guy used the high rate or the low rate.

@JerryBlotter @AgIntelAg Yes terribly dry. I don’t think most understand how dry we are. It’s a little better north and south but not a lot. This area is in worse conditions then any monitor has shown so far. We are lucky that a lot is no till.

This is what we are after. How many people are out digging, looking at diff treatments and practices? Great visual

Moving stuff in the garage and a loud bang went off. Four of us in the garage. Anyway - we got very lucky. A 22 bullet was underneath the storage and it shot off. It either shot right out the door and missed everything or we will find the damage at another point. Thank you God🙏

How many soil cores do you need to pull to adequately represent nutrient levels and pH in a given area? I'm running 49 individual cores spaced 3ft apart through the lab to have a better idea. @soilsampling

I've said this many times before, but just had a moment that reinforced it yet again: Emotions and agriculture should not mix. If someone is starting drama, end it. Life is short, and life is good. Each day brings its own challenges. Don't add to them unnecessarily.

Overly-general chart, but serves the point. When are nutrients most needed? When are diffusion gradients likely the steepest? When is biology most active? When is it not? Where are those populations? What has biology been shown to do?
